Pirie Property Group: A New Property Journey Begins

When Jordan Kies and David Reid founded Pirie Property Group in 2024, they combined 35 years of industry experience and a shared vision to create a fiercely independent commercial agency focused on trust, local expertise, and results.

“We have been working together for 15 years, and our strong partnership has been built on hard work, integrity, and open collaboration,” Mr Reid said.

“Every agency would say they have a point of difference, but for us, we just do what we do best, which is work with vigour, tenaciously push for optimised outcomes for our clients, and apply our vast experience in commercial property transactions, from the smallest and simplest to the largest and most complex.”

Why local matters more than ever

In a competitive market, local expertise is often the difference between a good deal and a great one. For Mr Kies and Mr Reid, who describe themselves as “at the coalface of the market,” their on-the-ground knowledge is a core strength. Their motto, ‘Intrinsically Local,’ speaks to a commitment to their community - and their knack for understanding the nuances of South Australia’s property market.

“South Australia remains heavily weighted toward local private ownership,” Mr Kies said.

“We each have areas of specialisation in varying disciplines of property. We’re embedded in the market, and this knowledge allows us to deliver unique value to all our clients.”

Riding South Australia’s property boom

With industrial properties driving the commercial real estate boom in South Australia, the pair predict 2025 will bring both opportunities and challenges.

“The demand from owner-occupiers is exceptional,” Mr Reid said.

“The weight of capital, both locally and nationally, looking to invest is significant.”

However, the limited availability of land and properties is expected to persist.

“There’s strong demand for land, which is also in limited supply, and that’s pushing prices higher,” Mr Reid said.

For investors, opportunities will increasingly focus on properties with rental growth potential.

“There’s an appetite for properties with rental uplift potential following strong rental growth over the last two to three years,” he said.

Local knowledge, national reach

While local expertise is the backbone of Pirie Property Group’s approach, they know when to look further afield.

Their recent sale of 1 Serafino Drive, Noarlunga Downs, using Ready Media Group's Gold Max Listing Package, demonstrates the power of combining local insights with national marketing reach.

“We knew the target market would be smaller investors - residential investors looking to move into commercial and the self-managed super cohort,” Mr Kies said.

The Gold Max Package, which targets local and national audiences, exceeded expectations.

“We were surprised with the reach of the package as it generated a large amount of interest,” he said.

“We also found the support from the Ready Media team exceptional.”

Beyond the immediate success, the package is now a cornerstone of their marketing approach.

“The message is simple: it generates results,” he said.

Growth and expansion on the horizon

Pirie Property Group has big ambitions for 2025. Plans include launching a Property Management Division led by experienced industry professional David Hossen, and expanding their team to meet growing client demand.

“Our strategic goal is to build a mid-sized, high-calibre real estate business across all sectors, including Commercial, Retail, Industrial, and Property Management,” said Mr Reid.

But it’s not just about growth.

“We also want to make sure we have fun along the way - watch this space!”
