One of Australia’s busiest Airports Transacts Off-Market

Leading Real Estate Investment Trust Company ‘Dexus & APN Industria REIT' have recently purchased one of Australia’s busiest airports for $1.3 billion from vendor Ascot Capital.

Facilitated by Ray White Commercial WA’s Brett WilkinsPerth’s Jandakot Airport was apart of a record breaking sale, boasting a 4.65% yield on the built form. 

A major Industrial precinct and an additional 80 hectares of development land was also included in the significant Off-Market deal.

Spanning 620 hectares, 20km south of Perth, the purchase included 49 fully leased properties to 54 tenants over 360,000m2* of buildings with a 7.6 year WALE. 

The holding is on a 99 year ground lease with 76 years remaining at purchase.

Commenting on the huge Off-Market acquisition, Ray White Commercial WA Senior Commercial Property Advisor, Brett Wilkins said, “This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire a major industrial estate with 48 blue chip tenants of the highest pedigree with 80 hectares for further development alongside a significant infrastructure investment in an airport.”
