Goanna Capital is a boutique investment firm with a mandate to invest in privately-held companies operating within the technology, consumer & financial services industries.
Since launching in November of last year, the business has amassed some $500m of funds under management and has recently launched its second fund, following the success of if it's inaugural $150m US fund which generated an extraordinary 55% IRR since inception.
Having now been based in the States for the past decade, Rob has held a number of positions with investment banks including RBS and Goldman Sachs, and also spent time working in Silicon Valley with trading platform Forge.
More recently, he spent two years as Head of Private Markets Execution at Coatue Management, a global investment business that manages over $50b in assets on behalf of retail & wholesale investors.
Rob is a graduate of the University of Queensland having completed a double degree in commerce / law.
