Childcare sites in hot demand

A local private investor paid $7 million for a childcare centre tenanted property at 425-427 Canterbury Road, Vermont, in Melbourne, at a yield of 5.48 per cent.

The seller developed the 827sq m purpose-built facility licensed for 120 child places on a 2494sq m corner site 20 years ago.

It is now leased to childcare operator Goodstart Early Learning.

CVA's Ian Angelico and Vinci Carbone's Joseph Carbone brokered the deal.
